Meditation

You do not need a clear mind in order to meditate. Your mind can be busy!

Meditation is a practice / process of quietening the mind through awareness of different objects, such as the thoughts themselves, the breath, parts of the body or perhaps a mantra. A level of concentration and awareness is present, which can bring about many healthful and blissful benefits such as a calmer more relaxed mind or being better able to deal with stress.

In these 30-minute sessions you will be guided through a meditation practice, which over time becomes easier and the still, tranquil gap between the thoughts becomes longer.

Meditation is the pathway to the state of Dhyana (total awareness / consciousness), which is the seventh limb of Patanjali’s Eight Limb’s of Yoga (one of the core texts on Yoga).
