Mindful Flow

Our Mindful Flow classes marry together the flowing breath led component of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow with the added element of Mindfulness.

Mindfulness can be described as “a way to pay attention on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally”(Jon Kabat-Zinn). In these classes you can expect a slower practice, where the emphasis is more on witnessing, noticing and experiencing each movement, thought and sensation (body mind awareness), rather than the ‘perfect pose’.

By bringing mindfulness into the practice you develop the ability to stay present, expand your perspective and cultivate clarity, which can have an immediate affect on your mental and emotional state and over time reduce rumination, emotional reactivity and stress, whilst improving memory.
